Hotel staff are kind and efficient. Food is very good.

Staff are excellent, breakfast delicious and varied, food at dinner very good.

Expensive, even at half board the extras were numerous - beach chairs, all drinks, snacks. Clients not always kept informed of venue changes of restaurants.

Poor that unless you got to the beach reasonably early, you had to pay for our hotel sunbeds. Never had to pay for hotel

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms although dated were clean and well equipped. Great view from our room.

Breakfast was ok. Pool and beach bars, choice of lunch was a bit sparse. Shame the hotel was not near any decent restaurants.

Lovely stay. Hotel has potential to improve.

Comfy bed and beautiful view from the room balcony. Breakfast was great with barrista coffee. The older gentleman who welcomed us on arrival was a lovely host. On checkout we received bottled water and pasticini - Lovely touch.

Gym could benefit from being enclosed and air conditioned and given wifi - it will help with making the space more enjoyable. There were no weights above 10kg. A smart TV and electrical plugs with USB C charging in the room would be a great addition.

Beautiful spot, super kind staff

Beautiful spot, highly advised to book a room with sea view. Small buildings with a big garden all around which is a fine antidote against over tourism. Exceptionally professional and kind staff all around. One guy even helped our kids to save a turtle from a hunting cat. The cleaning stuff arranged our kids toys in a nice order while we were at the sea. At the buffet dinner they let us in just because my smaller child wanted to have watermelon, even though we already used another restaurant. Both the gourmet and the pizza place is fantastic.

Why do they thought those creepy windows needed between the bathroom and bedrooms is beyond my understanding.

July Anniversary Trip

The resort and facilities were awesome. We had one of the two suites with private pool, and direct spa acess. This was an amazing feature of the resort. The beach is nice with decent access via club cars from the resort.

We arrived on a Tuesday evening (end of July) , for a anniversary trip, our plan was to spend Wednesday at the Spa and its pool areas. We found out on Wednesday morning that the Spa areas are completely closed on Wednesdays for cleaning. On Thursday... It was difficult to get spa reservations without booking ahead of arrival. There are some awesome spa services available however we suggest you research the spa and services before your trip and book spa services prior to arrival, especially during high season. The hotel staff did not do a good job of explaining resturants... Again booking same day for some resturants is not recommended. Management and staff did not appear to be 100% committed to customer service for a 5 star resort and its price point. It always seemed lacking, and they were not always accommodating with requests, and service.

Customer service above everything !

The customer service (Valeria!), the breakfast variety and quality, the junior suite size and design.

There were insects and animals like lizards entering the room which terrified us and interrupted our stay in the hotel. The hotel is huge making a long walk to navigate to different sites which is not for people with disabilities (even if the hotel provides buggies).

Amazing location with beautiful view to the sea and the rocks. The beach was super clean and the workers at the beach very friendly. Also the food was overall good and most of the staff friendly and helpful. The resort was very clean and well organized.

Unfortunately, the night we arrived, we were directly told that there was barely any space in the hotel restaurants for dinner, and the beach was also very full. The hotel was 'fully booked.' Not really what you want to hear upon arrival. Luckily, every now and then, we were able to get a table in the hotel buffet restaurant, and the beach was not as crowded as the reception mentioned. Also, the guy at the reception at a certain point just switched to speaking in Italian because English was 'a bit difficult' for him. The fact that one of us doesn't speak Italian didn't seem to bother him much. One day, we tried to get a table at the buffet restaurant for the next evening. The reception told us it was not possible. When we asked again on that day, explaining it was our last day, they were able to organize a table for us. Not understandable for us. We also reported that our phone in the room was not working, but they did not fix it until the last day when we left and reported it again at checkout. Additionally, when we asked if it was possible to have sunbeds on our balcony, the manager confirmed he would organize it. However, we never got them. Overall, the hotel is very expensive. Dinner at the buffet is 45 euros per person. If you go to the pizza restaurant and want to enjoy a very small panna cotta, you have to pay 11 euros. Ridiculous! Also, for me, as a Swiss person…

A quiet resort in the middle of peaceful Isola Rossa with surrounding nature and silence.

We loved the location, a few steps from the beach, the gym was amazing as well as a the breakfast filled with local produce.

The shower didn't work properly and even though they tried fixing it, it simply didn't work. I didn't expect this at a 5-star resort hotel.

Perfect for gluten-free travelers: attentive staff and delicious meals

We really enjoyed our stay. As a celiac patient, I felt incredibly fortunate to receive such special treatment from the staff, who ensured I had gluten-free options. Every morning, they (particularly Claudia) brought my gluten-free plate with bread and sweets. The à la carte restaurant had a daily gluten-free menu, and the buffet and pizzeria always had gluten-free options. While my partner was fully enjoying all the food, I could always find gluten-free options to enjoy as well. Besides the excellent food experience, the room was spacious and very clean, with everything we needed. The best part was the staff being very kind, hospitable, and friendly.

We experienced slow service during at the à la carte restaurant and at the pizzeria. However, the staff were very considerate of our feedback on this. For the rest of our stay, we dined at the buffet and everything was great. TV is a bit small for the room.

Wonderful

1. The overall setting, location, sea, nature. 2. Services were almost impecable. First time in a few years I felt people were genuinely smiling when working (reception, waiters, bartenders, people on the beach). 3. Coffee was good at breakfast, which is not always the case even in 5* hotels.

Just enjoy and relax

One night stay, toot short to provide consistent feedback. A 5* location with complementary cocktail and bottle of wine for welcoming you, golf cart with driver to move around, quite and relaxing (but it was end of season). An 'all-inclusive' for recovering from a year of work

Main restaurant fully booked, we couldn't get dinner there. Not a big deal as we were travelling by car , we went out, but a little bit disappointing for one night stay. Ants included in room service :)) Again, I handled it. But totally unexpected.

beautiful location, the beach and the surrounding area are making this place very friendly and helpful staff in restaurants and on the beach (less so at reception)

loads of points to improve! - hotel is palpably old - outside of half board or full board food is VERY expensive and really off balance in quantity x quality x diversity. dinner at Petra Ruja is €60 pp for v small portion set meal, some days it was very poorly cooked: salty, chewy meat, poorly cooked - not enough healthy options at lunch in a la carte - hb lunch was truly disgusting, worst pasta I ever had in Italy, it was hospital food quality - you have to pay for beach access minimum 20eur per day ( 35 euro if you want first line on the beach) - VERY old and run down gym! no water or towels at gym, you have to carry your own. elliptical and bike broken - old dirty beach towels ( all with stains) - overall feels like a 3 star, most certainly not 5 star

The beach was spectacular, the pool and the facilities were great. The service was so friendly and accommodating. The staff at reception was particularly helpful and so kind, they made us feel so welcome and helped us with everything.
